A Workplace Counselling Tip

A warm reception is therapeutic:

May we never be so busy that we receive people harshly. If you are not in the mood for visitors, lock your door and stay silent when someone knocks. When you are ready for visitors, open your doors and smile to anyone that walks in. Yes, there are busy periods during office hours, but your visitor doesn't know. Treat your customers "warmly" almost the same way you treat your boss. In a way, they both pay your salary. So, protect them from your negative moods/reactions. Same thing with phone calls.
