English Language In Nigeria

Hope this comforts someone feeling sad because they feel they aren't speaking the "real English". There is no real English. Each country  speaks a dialect of English. If Americans don't speak like those in the United Kingdom, why do you think you that haven't gone out of Nigeria would speak like them? Am just saying, ease up on the pressure folks. Learn English, but keep in mind your accent is also influenced by your environment, tribe, genetic makeup, local language, and your associations. You are beautiful. Your voice is lovely. A Simple "OK":

**[A free little exercise routine surprise at the end]*** A simple "OK" is better than an arguement. "OK" doesn't always mean "yes" or "no."  Sometimes, "OK" is just acknowledging that you've gotten the message. Yes, I know "OK" has other meanings, am just focusing on preventing unnecessary arguments right now. For example, if your boss calls you and reminds you about a policy or something, your saying "OK" means you've heard him. It's not the time to start  an argument defending yourself or trying to prove you don't need to be reminded. Same thing happens in relationships. Your partner may say, "please remember to call me when you arrive." A simple reply of "OK" is great.
