Some Ways to De-stress As A Counsellor:

Taking in other people's experiences and listening is a great task and as humans ourselves, we most times need to evaluate ourselves and be able to relieve some of these tensions so we are able to continue helping. Here are some ways to keep a balanced self-care routine as a counsellor.
- Seek Counselling too(not discussing your clients but settling your own issues induced by a series of counselling sessions)
- Apply natural remedies to relieve stress(e.g tension body points cold showers & foot massage)
- Have an relaxation activity you do after your daily sessions(e.g movies)
- Don't neglect your Faith. Our Spiritual needs matters a lot
- Schedule time-offs when you are able to have holidays or mini-breaks
- Music/Dance/Journal Therapy
- Refer clients 
- etc
